I'm ready for the next schnibbles 'Mercerie'!
Or I thought that I was ready... yesterday...
... when I had cut all the pieces for 'Mercerie'.
This morning I wanted to see what the green shades in blocks look like...
... but.... KRRRRRRR!.....
I had cut those four patch pieces totally wrong size!
I don't know why I suddenly forgot to add the seams. I should have used 5" charms... but instead I wanted to use my stash khaki green fabrics...
Fortunately I can trim the blocks...
and use those tiny leftovers for the stuffing...
... so now... my blocks are 6 1/2" x 6 1/2"...
they should have been 7 1/2" x 7 1/2".
Maybe this was a good lesson... remember always read the instructions well before you cut anything...
at least if you have small amount of fabrics...
When I look at 'Mercerie', I can only wonder how a simple model can be this beautiful...
See you around!!!

How very frustrating. But your colour combination does look very pretty.
I am thinking that you could probably just continue on with your sizes. None of us would have known what size you cut and sewed. Photos don't have measurements.
Quilters ca follow the same rules as carpenters or woodworkers, for example: measure twice, cut once. And it is easy to cut from a long length (in Finnish, pitkästä on hyvä pätkästä). And it's world's easiest to be wise afterwards, so I'll stop with the advice now. ;-)
I like your small version... it works out just fine! I have a hard time reading through the instructions sometimes also!
