... is growing...
when the last blocks of Sylvia's Bridal Sampler are near.
My pace has been approximately one (or less) block in a week, since I started 12th of November, 2008. Now the end is so close, that I just can't sew only one block...This week's blocks:
1. G-2 Oklahoma Dogwood
2. K-6 Gentleman's Fancy
3. N-1 Courthouse Steps
There is twelve grayish (= undone) blocks... one block per week means all will be finished in the middle of November 2011!
Today I had a shorter schoolday... and time to sew...
"PRETTY PANSY"
Sorry, the block is not well pressed...
because my little assistant occupied the main part of our ironing board. So it was quite impossible to press 12" block well...
In the middle of this blockmania
I have to seek my crocheting mojo...
Maybe I'll find it tomorrow;)
PRETTY WEEKEND
- I'm glad you stayed here a while...
PS: I had to say farewell to my old and loyal SportBernina, which was my sewingmate 26 years. She was at the doctor, who said there is nothing he can do. Her motor was totally broken and she is so old, that there is no more spare parts for her :(

To finish a quilt of that size is more important than how long it took you to do it...bravo!
Oletko kysynyt vanhalle ompelukaverillesi varaosia Kouvolan Konetikistä (tai siis heidän ompelukonekorjaajaltaan...)?
Oh, gorgeous blocks! I agree with Cheryl, it doesn't matter how long you spend on a quilt this size. You have kept a steady pace working on the blocks, and not for a moment has there been a chance of this turning into a UFO - good on you! And now you see the end and have a tentative date for when all the blocks are done - it will give you that boost you need to put in the effort of finish :-)
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
congratulations!!!. It's gorgeous
