No Aims for October...

... because I'm still lack of sewing inspiration!
(and I'm also lack of writing inspiration)

I stared and stared these options looooooooong time, many hours, I think.
Then I frustrated and decided to do it
and 'went over the lowest fence'.

So this table runner is now ready for quilting and binding.
And who knows, when that will happen...???

Merry, Merry Snowmen Block 1 is ready...
... second block is prepared.
Aren't those snowmen funny at the bus stop?

The evenings are dark and without a good light source it's annoying to do applique patterns in the evening.

That's why I dug up yarn stash, I found a nice tweed yarn and I started to knit a cardigan. The back piece is knitted and yesterday I started the other front piece.

Hopefully I finish it...
because it's a time when the last time I knit cardigan till the end. In recent years, I haven't been knitting no bigger things than socks.

I hope that all kinds of INSPIRATIONs will come back soon!
Because it would be nice to show & tell you more than I have recently done...
until then...

HAPPY NEW WEEK!

From what you show, you do always seem to be inspired to me!
Question: van appliquéing - how do you get the pieces on the right places of the background fabric? do you draw on the outlines?

Hi Satu, Your table runner is lovely. There is something about pumkins they always look good when finished, I think it is the colours. Knitting is a great fill in.
