Mill Girl's Quilt is Launched

 Anne Ida planned
that on the first week of MG Quilt-along we would make a final decision of fabrics, cut them and sew 30 hourglass blocks.
This evening I started to sew some hourglasses, but then I wanted to see one 12" block finished.
I have five colours:
pink, green, lilac, yellow and blue
and I needed help to arrange them well...

... I have years ago purchased Joen Wolfrom's book Colorplay...
tonight I found it very useful;)

in the end... before the bedtime...

the pressing of one hourglass

Goodnight!!!!

Your blocks are so delicate! Sure your quilt will be beautiful. I'm just making some blocks, I think they are very fun to make. And I think it is fun if they are different.

You block is beautiful, Satu! And I don't blame you for "cheating" and make a block (or two) in between the hourglass units - I just had to do so myself ;-)
Happy sewing!
