Happened Today;)

Early in the morning I started my day with DJ blocks. An easy ones;)))

That Kathy's Cake -triangle has been on my sewing desk almost two weeks unfinished and finally... it's finished. I must give myself a medal... just joking... maybe I have looked too much World Championships from Berlin (athletics). There is tomorrow a BIG Day... men's javelin... Hopefully we'll see a good competition between Finns and Andreas Thorkildsen;) Oh I want to guess; the winner is...

I choosed fabrics for my first Stitcher's Angel project...

I'll think my bag is FULL of Sweet Roses...

It will be a perfect gift bag for someone special person... who loves yellow roses... and who has birthday in September...

I have felt still some sadness, there has been rough times also at my work lately... so I definitely needed something new to my life on this weekend.

Although earlier this summer I desided to start this Autumn House project (Anne Sutton's pattern) on my last summerholiday week in September. I couldn't resist it anymore, when I yesterday saw those orangish rowan-berries on my journey to the work. I rushed to home and started to select the fabrics... I'm beginning with block number seven.

Anne has added a perfect quote from Georg Eliot on the first page of the pattern sheets...

- Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.

I wish you all creative weekend!!!

Your DJ blocks are so well made!
I really like your fabric choices for your new project. They are my kind of colors.
