SAL -project in July...

Because I wanted to make more summery than wintery bag, I changed the pattern of the stitchery.

But what would it be?

One morning I found my 'little' cat sitting under petunia flowers...
... then I got the idea to use a cat stitchery from Natalie's Red Home book.

Aren't they both quite cute in the middle of flowers?

The finished size is 9" x 11" + straps, which are about 20" long. It's a perfect size for a bag in which you can carry your small knitting works... for example woollen socks ;o)

... with flower regards!!!

What a lovely bag. Personally, I like the 'real' cat the best.

What a beautiful summer bag, do you have the heart to use it?

Your bag is beautiful Satu and will be great for knitting. Fenix will be jealous of the Natalie Bird cat on the bag.
